ELEMENTARY, MY DEAR TIMMY

Have fun with the periodic table of elements in Periodyx: An Elemental Game from Outset. This game includes 118 cards, one for each of the known elements. Knowledge of these elements will be key to winning the game, and all facts and statistics have been fully checked and approved by teachers and science professionals, along with an official Chemistry Advisor. The rules are simple and the game is fast, but knowledge of element facts is vital. Each round of play offers up something different, so gameplay is constantly changing. Sometimes you’ll compare atomic numbers. Sometimes you’ll need to know an element’s boiling point. In the end, the goal is to get 10 cards before anyone else, or to have the most cards in your hand if someone else loses all of theirs.

Each of the Element Cards includes an element from the periodic table along with copious facts, including name, atomic number, abbreviation, phase at room temperature, element classification, date discovered, atomic weight, density, melting and boiling points, and more, along with how many protons and neutrons each element has, and information on where it is found on Earth or how it is used. The cards also include a bunch of symbols and color bars that allow you to make up the entire periodic table. Kids and grownups alike will learn more about every currently-known element on the periodic table. Do you know your Oxygen from your Nitrogen? How about your Strontium from your Nobelium? Beginners and younger players might want to have a periodic table as a reference nearby, but eventually you’ll be able to redraw the table in your sleep!
