THIS TIME, THE CAKE IS NO LIE

Before Chell made her way through Aperture Science Laboratories in Portal and Portal 2, there were legions of Test Subjects who tried (and failed… a lot) to pass through those very same test chambers. Lured to their demise by the same thing that lures us most of the parties and company meetings we attend: the promise of delicious Cake!

Okay, so we don’t know for sure if they all died for Cake. They definitely died, though. Horribly. For SCIENCE! And now Aperture has resumed testing, with a fresh batch of faceless Test Subjects for you to maneuver to a cakey victory – or let fall to their deaths. Why fall? Oh, that’s just because the Lab is made up of modular Test Chamber panels and at the end of every player’s turn, one of the Chambers gives way, plunging all Test Subjects and Cake Slices to oblivion. For SCIENCE! This nifty board game, designed by the Valve staff (you know, the wonderful minds behind the original Portal video games), brings back all your favorite elements, from the Companion Cube to GLaDOS herself. There are even Portals to navigate through the chambers. But the big takeaway here is that the Cake is NOT a lie, and you’re gonna need to amass as much of it as you can in order to win the day – while not dying. Try not to die. Honestly, it’s just like most parties we attend.

Game of Thrones – Long May She Reign 1000pc Puzzle

Cersei is a complicated character. Well, nobody in GRRM’s world is simple, but our relationship with Cersei is more complicated than most. There’s some absolute revulsion combined with begrudging admiration. And occasional sympathy, which she undoubtedly would reject should she find out.

Sailor Moon Monopoly

We’re all just trying to find that “Miracle Romance” from Sailor Moon, but unfortunately, real life isn’t as nicely scripted as anime. Instead it’s more like we’re drawing randomly from the Chance pile in Monopoly. Let’s see what our next card says: “In the name of the Moon, go directly to jail. Do not transform. Do not collect $200.” We deserve this.
