ADAPTATION AT ITS FINEST
There’s just something about manga that makes us feel like we’re experiencing the most familiar titles for the first time. Even something as iconic as Star Wars seems like an entirely different story when we’re reading though the manga version.
This t-shirt features scenes from the Star Wars manga adaptation illustrated by Hisao Tamaki. While Tamaki’s story differs slightly from the movie we all know and love, this t-shirt shows off some familiar sites including the Death Star, Darth Vader (and his TIE Fighter), the Rebel squadron, Han, and the Millennium Falcon. No matter the medium, Han still shoots first. Just look at that bottom right panel.
